(No Adult Bible Study or Sunday School during the summer months.)

Starting Sunday, September 10, 2017

Adult Bible Study: 9:00-9:45 AM
Worship Service: 10:00 AM

Sunday School:

Starting this fall, Sunday School will take place at the same time as church, from 10-11, for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays of the month, and staff will be at the FMC from about 9:45 until about 11:15 for drop-off and pick-up. There will be no Sunday School on the 4th and 5th Sundays of the month to allow for children to worship with their parents on those Sundays (“Family Sundays”). This change would also include having the ages of Sunday school run from 3 years old through 6th grade. The 7th and 8th graders, in preparation for Confirmation, will continue their spiritual growth in catechism class with Pastor and by attending regular worship with their families.

About Salem

We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God demands perfect obedience to his will. All people are born sinful and cannot please God through their own power. However, God also loves us. Through the perfect life and innocent sufferings and death of his Son, Jesus Christ, he has given us a Savior from the eternal death we deserve. This is a gift from God and cannot be earned.

The Bible

We believe God has revealed Himself to us in His Word, the Bible. The Bible is divinely inspired and is without error.

We subscribe to the three historical creeds of the Christian Church: Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed.

Salem is a member congregation of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).
