Wee Play

Wee Play offers something different: A fun place to enjoy activities with your children. Come and enjoy a play date with your child – and leave all the planning, prep, and clean up to us! Wee Play at Salem enables children ages 0-5 and their caregivers to play, learn and grow together through age-appropriate activities.

Who: Wee Play is for children ages birth through preschool accompanied by an adult. Parents, grandparents, nannies and other caregivers are all welcome.

What: An educational play date using different themes to keep each session fresh, while the same basic structure ensures a familiar experience. Your child will develop important skills while having fun at the same time. Sessions will begin with circle time incorporating language, literacy and music activities. Following circle time, the director will introduce the various activities available to discover throughout the room. These will include sensory, fine motor and gross motor skill activities as well as an art and craft station, an infant area with age-appropriate toys for sensory and motor skill development will be available. You and your child will explore these activities at your own pace, while enjoying the company of the other adults. The session will end with the offering of a snack which may be enjoyed at Salem or taken along for the ride home.
